Dr. Wai Shung Lo
Wai Shun has 15 years experience in telecommunications and IT and as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist and investor in high-technology investment in the United States, Hong Kong and China. He has served on the Boards of two Hong Kong listed companies and also has extensive consulting experience in industry in China. He is currently Senior Researcher at Harvard Business School Asia Pacific Research Centre.

Wai Shun also worked for AT&T Bell Labs and HK Telecom. He was CEO and Founder of Silicon Venture Ltd and has been involved in R&D, engineering, product development, marketing, corporate planning and M&A. His experience in Government includes membership of the panel of assessors of SERAP and of the IT Vetting Committee of the Innovation and Technology Fund. He is director of the Young Entrepreneurs Development Council.

Wai Shun holds PhD from Brown University, M Phil and BSc from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and underwent executive training at INSEAD. In 1999 he published the book Case Studies of HK High Tech Start-ups.

Mable Tay
Mabel Tay is a highly regarded brand strategist and marketing professional and was instrumental in repositioning SingTel as one of the leading consumer brands in Singapore. She initiated Singapore’s biggest account review of 2004 leading to a consolidation of the business under 1 creative agency as an important first step towards building brand management sensibility within the organization. During her tenure as Vice President of Corporate Brand Marketing and Director of Consumer Marketing Communications, SingTel ranked as Asia’s Top 100 Brands and was Singapore’s Top Brand.  Mabel is largely credited behind the rollout of Singapore’s first consumer 3G launch, having drove SingTel’s multiphase 3LOGY launch campaign in 2005.
 
Prior to joining SingTel, she was with Motorola Asia Pacific and was amongst the pioneering team who shifted the company’s focus from engineering to marketing and building Motorola into an approachable brand. She joined Motorola’s Personal Communications Sector in 1997 and quickly became the Director for Brand and Consumer Marketing, first for South Asia then for the Asia Pacific region.
 
Mabel spent a number of years in sales and marketing positions with corporations such as Sanyo, Singapore Press Holdings and Keppel Corporation and has experience working on a number of international brands such as Singapore Airlines, Tag Heuer, Volvo, Tiger Beer, Dunhill.


Peter Hogewoning
Peter is the Vice President International at Smith Micro Software for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.  Before Joining Smith Micro Software, Peter Hogewoning was the Vice President and General Manager for Seven Networks in Asia Pacific.

Peter also worked at GTM Partners in Hong Kong, a company he founded in 2003, and for Openwave Systems as Regional Vice President for Asia, and where he joined Openwave as European Sales Director and under his leadership Openwave captured a leading position in WAP and Mobile Internet applications in Europe. Earlier in his career, Peter held various leading sales positions for AT&T and Lucent Technologies in both Asia and Europe. He holds an MS degree from the Technical University in Eindhoven. Peter lives in Hong Kong and spends a good portion of his spare time on sailing race catamarans.
